For teachers · ClassRelay

A clean handover for shared classes.

Record where the lesson stopped, what was covered and what the next teacher needs to know—without turning a quick professional handover into another sprawling system.

2
Pass the batonThe next teacher sees the newest handover.
3
Continue confidentlyShared classes stay joined up.

A deliberately narrow tool

Lesson continuity—and nothing more.

ClassRelay is for brief professional notes such as the page reached, task completed, equipment location or sensible starting point for the next lesson. It is not a behaviour log, safeguarding system or pupil record.

Explore safely

A real interface with fictional classes.

The public demo stores anything you type only in your current browser. It does not share entries with anybody, so use invented information and explore the complete flow.

Try the browser demo

Choose a fictional class, add a relay entry, edit the newest handover and see how update markers work.

Build an approved relay

The downloadable Apps Script template contains no school identity, real classes, staff names, access code or live data. Local IT and data-protection approval are still required.

Prototype status

Useful, working and intentionally cautious.

The shared version uses Google Apps Script and a private backing Sheet. Its access code is a lightweight gate rather than verified staff authentication, so each school must decide whether and how it can be used in its approved environment.

No AI required

ClassRelay does not send handovers to an AI service. It is an example of something co-created with AI that solves a teaching problem without placing AI inside the finished tool.
